After more than 20 years in the bike industry, I moved into media and journalism to put all that technical know-how and hands-on experience to good use. Over the years I’ve worked with global brands across everything from high-end road bikes to trekking and cargo, so I’ve picked up a pretty broad outlook on cycling and the people who ride.
I like to mix a sharp eye for detail with a straightforward way of explaining things—something I developed during years in sales and technical training. The aim is always to give readers the depth they want without overcomplicating it.
I’ve written for BikePerfect, Cyclingnews and MBR, and I’m currently working with Cycling Weekly, Road.cc and Cycling Electric. My work covers reviews, buyer’s guides and features on everything from gravel and bikepacking through to e-cargo bikes and sustainable cycling adventures.
At the heart of it, I enjoy taking all that insider industry knowledge and turning it into content that’s useful, interesting, and easy to relate to for riders of all kinds.
